Play on: Music weekend
Students from each of our co-curricular Music ensembles spent the weekend in rehearsals and tutorials run by our Music tutors, along with some guest tutors.
Our Captains of Music, Lara, Marina and Emily, along with our Performing Arts Prefect, Claudia, organised a successful series of activities and games for the girls during their break-out sessions.
Of course, making music can be tiring work, so there were regular food breaks to help the girls hit those high notes. This included lots of fruit and a giant delivery of pizza, which proved very popular!
The weekend concluded with an informal concert for family and friends, showcasing some of the amazing work the girls had been developing during their sessions.
A huge thank you to Director of Performing Arts, Ms Lemon, and all the staff and captains who were involved in setting up the event for our students.
It was a brilliant way for our Senior School and Junior School students to interact, and for the girls to see and hear each other perform in a relaxed and informal environment.
