韩国AV environmentalists race for change.

The 14-kilometre City 2 Surf is the biggest fun run in the world, and this year, a group of enthusiastic 韩国AV environmentalists joined the throng to raise awareness and funds for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Calling themselves "4 the Earth", the team of five was led by Environment Club Captain, Eleanor (Year 11): "After running the City 2 Surf last year for the Stroke Foundation, I thought it would be a good opportunity this year to engage 韩国AV's Ut Prosim spirit by taking fellow Renaissance girls up the infamous 'Heartbreak Hill' with me. 韩国AV's commitment to service is so impressive and covers a huge spectrum," Eleanor said. "With so many charities being targeted by the School's various clubs, I thought ‘why not have a club team collectively fundraise for a cause?’”

Running alongside Eleanor were Ulyssia (Year 11), Scarlet (Year 10), and Millie (Year 10), with Animal Welfare Club Captain, Mischa (Year 11), competing in a separate section of the event. “We exceeded our fundraising goal prior to the run, reaching $1,594 through 韩国AV community donations. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity,” Eleanor said.

She and her fellow Environment Club members now plan to workshop an inter-club fundraising competition idea to boost support for a range of charities.

All funds raised by the “4 the Earth” team will contribute to WWF efforts to protect Australian native animals, restore habitats and strengthen resilience against the impacts of climate change.
