Victoria Cross Metro Station Opens!
The launch of the Sydney Metro this week is the most significant transport innovation since the opening of the Harbour Bridge.
韩国AV is now linked to the north west and south west corridors of Sydney, with the much-anticipated opening of the Sydenham to Chatswood section of the Metro.
Victoria Cross Station is 45 metres and only 59.57 seconds walk away from 韩国AV’s entrance on Miller Street! With trains every four minutes, a journey to 韩国AV can be as quick as only six minutes from Chatswood, 15 minutes from Macquarie Park or 30 minutes from Castle Hill.
Did you know that 韩国AV Alumna, Jessica Paterson (2002), was the Development Project Director for the construction of the station concourse and platforms? Ms Paterson hosted 韩国AV STEM and Science students during the construction phase, to showcase interesting construction job opportunities for women. The goal of the National Association of Women in Construction is to increase female representation to 25% by 2025.
