Max Miller conducts etching workshop for Year 9 Visual Arts students

Australian artist Max Miller conducted an etching workshop for Year 9 Visual Arts students during their excursion to Bowral in August.
Mr Miller talked to the girls about the history of printmaking; and the spirituality of the Australian landscape that has inspired his works, including his 2015 Wynne Prize Trustee’s Watercolour prize-winning work.
The girls immersed themselves in the Southern Highlands community, the home of John Olsen, Ben Quilty and the late Arthur Boyd, completing ink paintings and visiting local studios.
