Four Year 6 prefects, Madeleine, Molly, Zoe, and Sophie attended the The Halogen Foundation Young Leadership conference at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. The conference focuses on leadership education and inspiration for Australian youth and gathers together prominent leaders from all walks of life to be part of IMAGINATION.

Motivational Speaker Sam Webb was the first to take the stage. He spoke of patience, positivity and persistence. This idea came to be in 1997, with a mission to inspire young people to lead themselves and others. This event is the largest event of its kind in Australia and there were 4,500 students present from schools all over Sydney. The theme running through presentations and guest speakers was "Together we can". After attending the event, the girls decided that their common core value as a team was 'respect'.
